The individual in this role will safely set up and operate a variety of CNC equipment to manufacture quality production parts in a timely manner. This position requires the ability to safely set up, load programs, prove out, adjust, maintain, and operate all assigned equipment to meet production requirements and goals. The role involves working with multi-axis mills and lathes, mill-turn machines, and Swiss lathes, while maintaining a clean and safe work area and adhering to housekeeping requirements. The CNC Machinist will also be responsible for meeting production goals, following inspection procedures, adjusting machines and processes, entering data into an ERP system, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting machine malfunctions, and contributing to manufacturing improvements using lean principles. Additionally, the role involves working with vendors, operating a forklift, and potentially working extended hours or varying shifts.
