The Role (CNC) Machinists operate various machines (manual and/or CNC) such as; lathes, mills, vertical machining centers, horizontal boring mills, etc. Inside machinists troubleshoot operations and take appropriate actions to correct. The machinists perform quality inspections, verifying dimensions of work piece are in accordance with drawing specifications.

Requirements

3+ years experience
Must be able to understand written instructions
Strong math skills are essential
Must be able to work ANY shift

Nice To Haves

Prior Mechanical experience such as Automotive Repair, Plant Maintenance, Machinery Installation/Repair is a plus.
Successful completion of a technical/vocational program in Machining, Diesel Technology, Automotive, HVAC, Mechanical.

Responsibilities

Operate various machines (manual and/or CNC) such as; lathes, mills, vertical machining centers, horizontal boring mills, etc.
Troubleshoot operations and take appropriate actions to correct.
Perform quality inspections, verifying dimensions of work piece are in accordance with drawing specifications.
