About The Position

Tool Specialties Company is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their CNC milling department. This role requires an efficient, self-motivated individual who enjoys working collaboratively with a team of twenty or more members. The company is an American manufacturer of precision metal stamping tools, dies, and precision machined parts, committed to quality and excellence.

Requirements

At least three (3) years of experience in a Machinist role.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional overtime and/or weekends.
Experience fabricating parts for metal stamping dies or a broad knowledge of metalworking/metal stamping industry.
Ability to understand and utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Strong fundamental math and hands-on problem-solving skills.
Ability to relocate to Hazelwood, MO 63042 before starting work.

Responsibilities

Set-up and operate a variety of CNC machine tools, including Okuma, Makino, and Mighty Viper milling machines.
Set-up, program, and operate Harrison CNC lathes.
Ensure all projects are processed in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
Work closely with the department lead to meet daily throughput requirements.
Assist Toolmakers and machinists with projects to ensure their successful completion.
Responsible for the overall maintenance of equipment and special projects as needed.
Maintain a supportive, productive, and respectful working environment through professional conduct and effective communication with internal and external customers, coworkers, and vendors.
Uphold Tool Specialties safety culture by participating in job safety training and following all plant rules and work procedures.
Work within a mature ISO 9001-2015 quality management system.
