About The Position

ProMach is hiring a CNC Machinist to support our Lako division. In this hands-on role, you will set up and operate CNC and manual machines. You will work with downloaded programs and adjust them to ensure accurate, high-quality parts. We offer a modern, clean, safe, and climate-controlled work environment. Our team focuses on building world-class packaging equipment for a global customer base. Our manufacturing team specializes in supporting the lifecycle of our machines and products. Our team is dedicated to consistency, fit, finish, machine integrity, and manufacturing excellence. ProMach is hiring a Grinder to support our Lako division. In this hands-on role, you will set up and operate CNC and Manual Grinding Machines. You will work with downloaded programs and adjust them to ensure accurate, high-quality parts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 3 year Manufacturing experience, preferably in a Custom Machine Shop environment desired
• Experience running CNC equipment
• Excellent Safety practices and mindset
• Ability to adapt with changing priorities and to engage in multiple jobs simultaneously
• Ability to read machine drawings/blueprints
• Ability to take direction and follow through with assignments as provided
• Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and maintain good attendance
• Must be able to work well in a team and environment
• Desire to produce quality product
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Responsibilities

• Operating & Programming CNC mill and lathe machines safely and productively
• Ability to do your own set ups and produce quality parts from drawings with minimal supervision.
• Plans machining by studying detailed/complex blueprints and work orders; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD & T)
• Download/edits programs by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation and conditional switches.
• Calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry and trigonometry; proving part programs.
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first run part and sample work pieces.
• Partner with engineering on R & D projects
• Maintain Quality Control through inspections
• Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly
