About The Position
We're hiring CNC Machinists for our aerospace and defense machine shop outside of Anaheim, CA. We machine frames and structural components for defense platforms–true large-format work, on parts most machinists never get their hands on. If your fundamentals are strong, we'll train you on large-format gantry mills, 5-axis machining centers, and supporting CNC mills and lathes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience
- 5-axis machining experience
- Strong understanding of G-code and tool paths
- Reads blueprints and GD&T
- Runs own setups from setup sheets: programs, tools, offsets, and fixtures
- Inspects own work with calipers, micrometers, and precision instruments
- U.S. person (citizen or permanent resident) — ITAR-regulated facility
Nice To Haves
- Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience
- Large-format or gantry mill experience
- Experience machining large structural parts
Responsibilities
- Setups: Load and verify programs, tools, offsets, and fixtures from setup sheets
- Machining: Set up and operate CNC milling and turning centers, including large-format work
- Dimensional Accuracy: Adjust machine parameters, offsets, and tooling to hold tight tolerances
- Blueprints & GD&T: Work from complex aerospace prints and customer specifications
- Inspection: Precise measurement with calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments
