Requirements

• Proficient in operating CNC machinery and other tools
• Knowledge of basic shop math (metric conversion and arithmetic)
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of M & G code to be able to edit & trouble shoot CNC program at machine
• Proficient in use of Measuring Equipment and able to verify conformance of machined work piece to specifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years minimum of experience as a CNC Machinist

Nice To Haves

• technical certification is a plus
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines and laser cutters
• Operate press brake, drill press, lathe and other tools
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary
• Conduct quality control inspections on finished products
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to improve production processes
