CNC Machinist- All Shifts
About The Position
Gleason is seeking machinists for a career opportunity in a clean, safe work environment. They offer positions for entry-level candidates as well as individuals with master-level experience in Precision Machining. Gleason provides excellent learning opportunities for those beginning their career in Advanced Manufacturing and for experienced Precision Machinists. The position involves setting up and operating conventional and/or CNC machine tools to produce precision parts and/or instruments by applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures. This includes verifying product by inspection of precision parts to meet defined print specifications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree in Advance Manufacturing/Machining desired
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a variety of conventional and/or CNC machine tools to produce precision parts and/or instruments by applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
- Verify product by inspection of precision parts to meet defined print specifications.
