About The Position

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. This role involves operating and setting up CNC machines, including manual CNC Mills and Lathes, as well as Mazak machines with live tooling, Mazak controls programming, Mazatrol, and conversational programming. Experience with Haas machines is also desired. The position requires a strong understanding of machining processes, quality control, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. You will be responsible for ensuring production schedules are met and for training and supervising fellow employees when necessary.

Responsibilities

Set up machines for production components.
Machine/fabricate standard and special components.
Continuous inspection of components while in process.
Complete secondary operations as required.
Ensure a clean and safe work environment while following all safety standards.
Complete machinery maintenance and repairs as required.
Responsible for stock of all shop tooling.
Record notations of necessary up-dates or changes to drawings.
Assure production schedule and ship dates are met consistently.
Inform management of potential problems, while participating and incorporating solutions for problems.
Supervise and train fellow employees when necessary.
