About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up, operate, and optimize CNC and manual machining equipment to produce precision metal components that meet exacting quality standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven experience operating CNC machines (lathes, mills, or machining centers)
- Proficiency using precision measuring instruments
- Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Technical training or certification in machining preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T (preferred)
- Experience with CNC program editing and offsets strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathes, machining centers, and manual equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications to ensure accurate production
- Edit and adjust CNC programs as needed to maintain tight tolerances (within thousandths of an inch)
- Perform precision measurements using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Monitor production runs and make machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
- Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Collaborate across teams to ensure production schedules and customer demands are met
- Complete additional duties as assigned
