About The Position
The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. Pay rate: $20.00-$27.00/hour DOE. A Day In The Life Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- At least 1 year of experience with CNC Milling and Mill Turn Machines
- Ability to read, write English and do basic math
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Operate and Setup Okuma Milling machines
- Inspect own work using various inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gage and optical comparator
- Maintain quality and production standards
- Knowledge of feeds, speeds, and surface finishes related to blueprint requirements.
- Knowledge of basic CNC G-codes and M-Codes
- Ability to make minor adjustments to CNC programs and tool offsets.
- Incorporate lean practices into daily activities
- Participate on continuous improvement teams
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Willing to work overtime
