About The Position

SimTech, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CNC Machinist, Senior to join our SMS Manufacturing Team in a fast-paced, prototype-driven environment. This role involves interpreting engineering drawings and CAD models to produce complex components using CNC mills, lathes, and 5-axis equipment. Candidates should be comfortable working independently and adapting to changing project needs. Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in precision machining using CNC mills and lathes.
Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds or more without assistance.
Ability to work a full-time schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week.
Willingness to work overtime as needed to support mission-critical operations.
Proficiency in 5-axis machining, particularly with Fanuc and HAAS control systems.
At least one year of experience using 2D and 3D CAM software.
Prior experience working in a prototype or R&D machining environment.
U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models to manufacture unique, high-precision components.
Manufacture complex parts using a variety of materials and machining techniques.
Operate 5-axis and/or mill-turn machines with a high level of proficiency.
Work independently on a variety of projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
