About The Position

Precision Manufacturing, a division of Wald Manufacturing, is seeking an experienced CNC machinist to join their team in Brooten, Minnesota. This full-time role involves programming, setting up, and operating 3-axis vertical milling machines and a CNC lathe with mill-turn capabilities. The position requires a strong understanding of CNC machining principles, including setups, tooling, work offsets, and part inspection. The ideal candidate will be comfortable reading, editing, and troubleshooting G-code. While experience with Haas or Fanuc controls and Inventor CAM is preferred, the company is willing to train the right candidate. This is not a simple production role; it involves manufacturing a wide variety of parts and complete equipment, requiring problem-solving skills, accuracy, and a focus on improving machining quality and efficiency.

Requirements

Understanding of CNC machining.
Understanding of setups.
Understanding of tooling.
Understanding of work offsets.
Understanding of part inspection.
Comfortable reading, editing, and troubleshooting G-code at the machine.
