We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Machinist / Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in producing high-quality precision components by setting up and operating CNC equipment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of CNC machining experience or progression from a CNC Operator role
  • Ability to perform basic machine set-ups and adjustments
  • Strong understanding of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, indicators)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
  • Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn, take direction, and continue developing technical skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform CNC machine set-ups with guidance from Leads or Engineers
  • Install and adjust tooling and fixtures to support production requirements
  • Load and verify CNC programs to ensure proper machine operation
  • Make basic adjustments to offsets, speeds, and feeds to maintain quality standards
  • Conduct in-process inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Interpret blueprints and job orders to meet dimensional and tolerance requirements
  • Identify machining or quality issues and escalate as needed
  • Accurately record production data and inspection results
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and quality
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow and meet production goals
  • Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
