About The Position
Riverside Machine & Engineering, with over 45 years in business, specializes in precision machining for the medical, aviation, space, and defense industries. Our vacuum aluminum brazing capabilities are in high demand, ensuring our shop is consistently engaged with long-term projects and stable work. We are seeking CNC Machinists for our Milling Department. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Requirements
- CNC experience (all levels welcome)
- Associate degree/Technical certificate OR equivalent experience
- GD&T knowledge a plus
Nice To Haves
- We provide training and shop floor support
- We provide training and create simplified work instructions so machinists focus on making parts, not decoding symbols.
Responsibilities
- Setup/operate CNC mills
- Read blueprints, GD&T, job routings
- Load/verify programs, manage tooling/offsets
- Perform in-process & final inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Run multiple machines when cycle times allow
