We're seeking an experienced Machinist III who can independently set up, troubleshoot, optimize, and operate complex CNC equipment while serving as a technical resource and mentor to other machinists. This is an opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing technology, challenging precision parts, and a team committed to excellence. This position works a schedule of Monday thru Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm. Our work area is 100% climate controlled. The hiring range for this role is between $30.00 - $40.00 per hour. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is also being offered at this time

Requirements

Experienced Machinist III
Independently set up, troubleshoot, optimize, and operate complex CNC equipment
Serve as a technical resource and mentor to other machinists
Work with advanced manufacturing technology and challenging precision parts

Responsibilities

Lead setups and operation of complex CNC mills, lathes, multi-axis machining centers, and specialized equipment.
Adjust tooling, offsets, feeds, and speeds to optimize production efficiency and part quality.
Validate programs through first-run and first-article inspections.
Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements.
Work closely with Engineering, Programming, Quality, and Production teams to resolve technical challenges.
Apply advanced knowledge of materials, tooling, cutting strategies, and machining best practices.
Mentor and support Machinist I and Machinist II team members.
Participate in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and 5S initiatives.
Support AS9100 quality standards and assist with audits as needed.
Serve as a lead machinist when required, helping coordinate workflow and production priorities.
