About The Position

AeroTECs Aircraft & Test Site Operations Division provides several areas of expertise and services to support Flight Testing, including, but not limited to, Quality Management Systems (QMS), Manufacturing (PMA), Aircraft Maintenance, Modifications, Repair & Overhaul (FAA 145 MRO), Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and Test Site Facilities Management. The CNC Machinist is responsible for programming, set-up and operation of CNC milling machines to produce parts. In addition, this position assembles aircraft parts, fabricates parts for warehouse projects, and researches and completes purchase requisitions for projects.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of CNC Machining and Programming.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with equipment (grinders, machine tools, latches and lasers)
  • Ability to read blue prints and mechanical drawings
  • Proficiency with G-code programming

Responsibilities

  • Setup and operate CNC milling machine.
  • Fabricate machined parts for both aircraft tooling and models for aircraft programs
  • Create and run CNC programs for the milling machines.
  • Assemble aircraft parts.
  • Research and complete purchase requisitions for project and shop supplies.
  • Fabricate warehouse projects/tooling using Welder.
