CNC MACHINIST II MOSES LAKE
About The Position
AeroTECs Aircraft & Test Site Operations Division provides several areas of expertise and services to support Flight Testing, including, but not limited to, Quality Management Systems (QMS), Manufacturing (PMA), Aircraft Maintenance, Modifications, Repair & Overhaul (FAA 145 MRO), Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and Test Site Facilities Management. The CNC Machinist is responsible for programming, set-up and operation of CNC milling machines to produce parts. In addition, this position assembles aircraft parts, fabricates parts for warehouse projects, and researches and completes purchase requisitions for projects.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of CNC Machining and Programming.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with equipment (grinders, machine tools, latches and lasers)
- Ability to read blue prints and mechanical drawings
- Proficiency with G-code programming
- High School Diploma
- Five (5) + years of CNC Machining (milling; 3,4 and 5 axis) experience as an operator.
- Three (3) years of CNC Programming experience.

- Certification and/or Coursework in CNC Machining - Preferred
- Certification and/or Coursework in CNC Programming - Preferred
Responsibilities
- Setup and operate CNC milling machine.
- Fabricate machined parts for both aircraft tooling and models for aircraft programs
- Create and run CNC programs for the milling machines.
- Assemble aircraft parts.
- Research and complete purchase requisitions for project and shop supplies.
- Fabricate warehouse projects/tooling using Welder.
