CNC Machinist C - Weekend/Weekday Shift (B268)
About The Position
EPTAM Precision Plastics is looking for a CNC Machinist C - 4th Shift (Weekend/Weekday) to join their team in Northfield, NH. This role involves operating various equipment, primarily a 3 Axis Machine, to meet production requirements and contribute to the manufacturing of plastic components for the medical industry. Requirements
- High School diploma, general education degree (GED) and/or trade school graduate preferred.
- 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment, operating manual and/or CNC equipment, or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to execute the Essential Functions for this position.
- Internships and PT experience acceptable.
Responsibilities
- Operate various pieces of equipment to meet production requirements, primarily a 3 Axis Machine.
- Use judgment to follow instructions with little or no choice to the procedures.
- Make suggestions regarding tooling, fixtures, etc., to increase efficiency and improve operations.
- Load/feed machine as required to produce finished product.
- Keep count of parts and maintain records.
- Perform in-process inspection for dimensions of produced parts and maintain documentation.
- Follow specifications and procedures for manufacturing, including process sheets and work orders.
- Work on various types of equipment as assigned.
- Properly handle all material, parts, and equipment to prevent damage and loss of finished product.
- Relate to other people, get along with co-workers, and respond appropriately to feedback from a supervisor.
- Identify quality problems in materials.
- Properly utilize evacuation systems to minimize exposure to hazards.
- Provide accurate and complete turnover from shift to shift.
- Maintain good housekeeping and safe working habits.
