About The Position
As a CNC Machinist 1 at MKS Inc., you will partner with Operations to process high-precision optics on various CNC machines. In this position, you will report to the Filters Unit Production Manager. You Will Make an Impact By: Operating multiple CNC cutting machines, Prioritizing workload to ensure on-time delivery goals are met, Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) to correctly process substrates to meet customer requirements, Working safely and looking out for the safety of your co-workers, Maintaining productive communication with other team members, including production planning and management.
Requirements
- 1+ years experience operating CNC machines
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to effectively solve problems and adapt to changing conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and follow through
Nice To Haves
- Experience processing glass substrates on CNC machines
- Writing programs for CNC machines
