Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Setup/Operator.
  • Experience with Fanuc controls will be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Mazatrol controls a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints to setup machine for production.
  • Setup job according to specifications or work order.
  • Follow blueprints and/or directions to produce required quantity of parts.
  • Follow all safety rules and guidelines regarding CNC machine operation and proper guarding.
  • Move raw material to machine area, either by hand or using a pallet jack.
  • Load material into machine, either by hand or using a crane.
  • Move machined parts to boxes or pallets, either by hand or using a crane.
  • Ensure parts meet basic quality standards prior to transferring them to inspection area.
  • Complete routine CNC machine maintenance and keep work area in clean working order.
  • Use various tools - such as hand grinders, files, roto-burrs, and sand cloth - to remove burrs from parts.
  • Promote and support the requirements and principles of the Precise Quality Management System and AS9100.
