About The Position

Incodema3D is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our team on 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM). Incodema3D has a unique and innovative team, focused on additive manufacturing technology for the aerospace, defense, and other industrial applications. The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for producing machined parts by setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines and equipment, including mills and lathes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and results-driven.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of experience with HAAS or similar Lathes and Machining Centers, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to operate CNC machinery, tooling, and precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, digital indicators).
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
  • Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
  • Keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorization from the U.S. Department of State.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling.
  • Read blueprints and mechanical drawings to interpret specifications and desired results.
  • Translate instructions into computer commands for machine functions.
  • Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto machines.
  • Conduct test runs to verify machine output meets specifications.
  • Set machines to complete full cycles for part fabrication.
  • Supervise machines during operation, making necessary adjustments to optimize results.
  • Inspect and measure finished products against requirements for quality assurance.
  • Perform daily maintenance on machinery to ensure functionality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disposal of scrap and tool organization.
  • Participate in miscellaneous shop maintenance, repairs, and other tasks as needed.
