About The Position

Advanced Industries LLC, a turnkey manufacturing company with over 50 years of experience fabricating aluminum and steel products for the Department of Defense, is seeking a dependable and self-motivated CNC Machine Operator for its 3rd shift team. The company prides itself on superior products, excellent customer service, quality control, and on-time delivery, and is looking for a new member to join their award-winning team. This position operates on a weekend-only schedule, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Requirements

Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
1 year of CNC Experience working with the set-up, programming, where applicable, and operation of press brakes, shears, lathes, vertical and horizontal milling machines, and drill presses.
Superior attendance.
Self-motivation and dependability.
Must be able to lead others during the weekend shift.
Must be able to tolerate repetitive, tedious work.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing technologies.

Responsibilities

Load parts and operate CNC machines.
Touch-off tools as needed.
Perform 1st piece and in-process inspection.
Conduct routine machine maintenance.
Learn and apply continuous improvement processes.
Operate equipment such as press brakes and CNC machines with minimum blueprint reading and job set-up ability.
Perform simple, generic machine set-ups.
Use power tools such as tape measure and calipers.
Tolerate repetitive, tedious work.
