At Rolls-Royce, we take pride in being a business that has played a pivotal role in shaping the modern world and remain dedicated to driving progress forward; powering, safeguarding, and connecting people across the globe. Joining Rolls-Royce means you will work on innovative, world-class engineering solutions, supported by a culture that values inclusion, creativity, and your ongoing professional development. This role involves operating Computer Numerical Control (CNC) HELLER machining centers with Siemens 840 D Controllers according to instructions, routings, control plans, production requirements, plans and diagrams. You will study machining instructions, routings, control plans, job orders, and blueprints to determine dimensional and finish specifications, sequences of operations, complex machine setups, and tooling requirements. The position requires selecting appropriate tools and materials, setting up and adjusting machine tools for precision machining, and checking precision measuring instruments. You will also perform fine-tuning of tools/equipment, optimize CNC programs, observe machine operations to detect issues, and stop machines for adjustments or changes. Measuring finished work pieces, maintaining industrial machines within Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) specifications, and complying with safety regulations are key aspects of the role. Additionally, you will identify and reduce non-value-added work, perform special projects, and maintain flexibility by supporting other production-related areas. Promoting a compliance culture and adhering to the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct is expected.
