About The Position

Hypertherm Associates is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as CNC Machine Operators. This role involves producing machined parts for plasma cutting systems through machining, assembly, and packaging tasks within an assigned manufacturing area, following standard work instructions. The company offers a comprehensive CNC Fundamentals Course through their Technical Training Institute (HTTI), a US Department of Labor approved Apprenticeship Program, to train individuals in the valuable trade of CNC Machine Operation. The training course is approximately 4 weeks long and conducted on the 1st shift (7 am to 3:30 pm). Upon completion of the training, operators will work on the 2nd shift. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
18 years of age or older
Comfort and interest in working with technology, including experience and familiarity using MS Office (Outlook/Excel) and Windows Operating Systems
A positive attitude
Ability and willingness to learn technical material in a school-like setting
Excitement about working with a team and within our collaborative ownership culture
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to follow and process instructions
Basic math understanding
Good written and verbal communication skills
