CNC Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

About The Position

HSM is hiring a CNC Machine Operator to help keep production running efficiently and safely. The role involves operating CNC machinery to cut and shape materials according to production orders, managing production schedules, loading and inspecting materials, selecting and entering programs into CNC control panels, checking product quality, and reporting defects or production issues. The operator will also support team goals and assist with additional tasks as needed. This position is identified as 2nd shift.

Requirements

Ability to read a tape measure and work with basic math, including decimals and fractions.
Basic reading and writing skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Manufacturing or CNC experience.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machinery to cut and shape materials based on production orders.
Review and prioritize daily production schedules to meet deadlines.
Load materials and inspect them for quality before and after processing.
Select and enter the correct programs into CNC control panels.
Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
Identify and report defects or production issues.
Support team goals and assist with additional tasks as needed.
