About The Position

Advanced Industries LLC has been in business for over 50 years as a turnkey manufacturing company fabricating aluminum and steel products for the Department of Defense. We are looking for the next addition to our award-winning team!! This is a 2nd Shift position, working Monday - Thursday from 3:30pm - 2:00am, offering weekends off.

Requirements

Must pass pre-employment drug screen (including THC/Marijuana; medical card will NOT be accepted).
1 year of CNC Experience working with the set-up, programming, where applicable, and operation of press brakes, shears, lathes, vertical and horizontal milling machines, and drill presses.
Superior attendance.
Self-motivation and dependability.
Must be able to tolerate repetitive, tedious work.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing technologies.

Responsibilities

Load parts and operate CNC machines.
Touch-off tools as needed.
Perform 1st piece and in-process inspection.
Conduct routine machine maintenance.
Learn and apply continuous improvement processes.
Operate equipment such as press brakes and CNC machines with minimum blueprint reading and job set-up ability.
Perform simple, generic machine set-ups.
Use power tools such as tape measure and calipers.
Tolerate repetitive, tedious work.
