About The Position

This role involves operating and controlling CNC Milling Machines to produce products according to the manufacturing schedule and work instructions. The operator will be responsible for maintaining product quality, performing daily preventive machine maintenance, and troubleshooting minor issues. They will work under the guidance of a CNC Set Up Tech for training and mentorship.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years’ experience with CNC milling machines (for Senior role).
• 6 mos to 2 years’ experience in a machine shop, possibly as a helper, OR recent graduate or currently enrolled in a vocational school for CNC Machining (for Junior role).
• Basic understanding of GD&T.
• Knowledge of machine shop theory, acronyms and procedures.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, customer drawings, SOPs, WIs and all technical info in English.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control process on all products produced on CNC Milling Machines.
• Execute production plan according to manufacturing schedule and work instructions.
• Control quality of product according to inspection plan and maintain quality records.
• Maintain and perform daily preventive machine maintenance and supplies all machine related needs.
• Troubleshoot and solve minor problems and issues.
• Conduct minor root cause analysis.
