CNC Machine Operator II (Night Shift)
About The Position
Pall Corporation, a Danaher operating company and a global leader in high-tech filtration, separation, and purification, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator II. This role is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC type or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. The position is located in Cortland, NY and is an on-site role, reporting to the Production Supervisor. The company emphasizes innovation for tangible impact and fostering a culture of belonging. Requirements
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or Equivalent
- 18 months + of related CNC Machine Operator experience.
- Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum, 8 hours.
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs.
Responsibilities
- Setup and operate all equipment in a related area to produce complicated components, subassemblies, and final assemblies from blueprints and work instructions.
- Upload new programs or alterations and supply set-up sheets.
- Deburr parts and sharpen tools.
- Set-up tooling.
- Work under the direction of supervisors, or more experienced personnel, with little supervision.
- Maintain accurate records and logs and collect any necessary data for use by Engineering.
- Troubleshoot potential machine problems and recommend solutions.
