About The Position

B&Z Manufacturing Company Inc. is seeking a CNC Lathe Set-up/Operator to work in precision manufacturing under limited supervision in prototype and production conditions. The role requires operating multiple machines and multitasking. Candidates must be team-oriented, punctual, honest, and able to read, write, and understand English. The position is full time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Compensation is $30.00–$40.00 per hour, based on experience. The listed starting date is ASAP. B&Z Manufacturing has more than 66 years of experience machining ultra-precision components and operates a clean, modern, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility. Its capabilities include multi-axis milling and turning, 4- and 5-axis machines, high-production pallet changers, electronic probing, and Zeiss coordinate measuring machines.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Team-oriented, punctual, and honest.
Ability to set up CNC lathes.
Ability to use Hardinge and Nakamura machines with Fanuc-style controls.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and use GD&T.
Ability to read and understand company job travelers and use the barcode system for job tracking.
Ability to operate multiple machines and multitask under limited supervision in prototype and production conditions.

Nice To Haves

Having personal tools is a plus, but not required.
Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese is a plus.
