About The Position

Basic Function: Machine components to print specifications using CNC machine
tools.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2 years in a manufacturing environment that include CNC equipment
• Standing, bending, lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs., periodically during an 8 to 12 hr. work shift.
• Dexterity required includes the ability to safely work with power and hand tools.
• Normal hazards associated with working in a metal fabricating environment.
• Personal protection equipment required consists of: safety glasses, steel toed shoes and hearing protection.
• Additional personal protection equipment may be required and is dependent upon the work being performed, and may include: face shield, respirator etc.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blue prints and follow various work instructions.
• Set-up and operate CNC machine tools (CNC lathe/mill)
• Set-up and operate various manual machine tools (drill press, belt sander etc.)
• Proficient using measuring instruments and gages.
• Proficient using various hand tools.
• Ability to work well with fellow employees including active participation in employee involvement activities and problem solving.
• Fully support and participate in promoting safety at all times.
• Maintain clean, efficient work area.
• Ability to work well with minimum supervision.
