About The Position
Beyond TalentEdge has a direct hire opportunity for an experienced CNC Lathe Operator. Our client is a technology driven leader in a unique industry with global reach. They are expanding their global team adding several new product lines and to their team. In this senior level 3rd shift role you will be responsible for the set up and operation of CNC lathe machines. This is a senior position with responsibility of loading programs and troubleshooting for accurate production of quality products.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience operating CNC lathe machines in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong knowledge of basic math and measurement tools
- Understanding of tooling concepts and selection
- Knowledge of quality control processes in a machining environment
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to perform precision machining operations
- Select and install tooling, fixtures and attachments for efficient and accurate machining
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and conformance to specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process
