About The Position

Custom Control Sensors, LLC (CCS) is seeking a Level 1 CNC Operator to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time, non-exempt position involves operating CNC Lathe/Mill machines with supervisory assistance. The operator will follow verbal directions, use basic measuring tools to verify dimensions, and ensure quality production. CCS is a global leader in pressure, temperature, and liquid flow switches and sensors for Aerospace, Defense, and Industrial markets, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and creative work environment where individual contributions are valued.

Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident due to ITAR compliance
Knowledge of CNC lathe/mill machining including set-ups as required
Adequate manual dexterity to safely and proficiently perform pre-setups or set-ups of certain job operations on CNC lathes/mills
Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions in English
Ability to work with a number sequence
Ability to work well with only a modest amount of repeated instructions
Be team oriented and possess flexibility and adaptability
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to do repetitive motion, arms, wrists, elbows and shoulders

Nice To Haves

Trade school certification or 2 years direct experience
