About The Position

A to Z Machine is hiring a full-time CNC Lathe Machinist in Appleton, Wisconsin. The role involves programming, setting up, and operating Doosan CNC lathes with 12–32-inch chucks and Fanuc controls, including work on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines in a non-production setting. The machinist collaborates with the team to select efficient machining methods and ensures part accuracy and quality according to blueprints and specifications. The position follows 6S and safety protocols and supports continuous improvement in tools, CAD/CAM, and setups. The schedule offers a three-day workweek, 36 hours worked for 40 hours of pay. The posting identifies first- or second-shift options and specifically describes second shift as three days on and four days off. A 7% shift premium is offered. Requirements

At least 3 years of CNC lathe experience in a job shop environment.
Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience with multi-axis machining or live tooling.
Ability to thrive in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
