CNC Lathe Machinist | 2nd Shift
About The Position
Our client is looking for a responsible CNC Lathe Machinist. This is a Temp to Hire position with our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need 3+ years of experience as CNC machinist; Aerospace experience preferred. Verify dimensions using standard measuring instruments, such as micrometers, depth gauge, height gauge, and verniers. Read and interpret blueprints and operations sheets. Familiar with Lean practices, 6S, and contributing to a continuous improvement environment. Follow all safety requirements regarding machine operation including proper guarding.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as CNC machinist
- High school diploma/GED equivalent
- Exceptional mechanical ability.
- Good math skills.
Nice To Haves
- Aerospace experience preferred.
- Familiar with Lean practices, 6S, and contributing to a continuous improvement environment.
- 4+ years or more years in aerospace manufacturing environment desired.
- 3+ years or more experience operating 4 Axis Grinding machine preferred.
