About The Position

The Laser CNC Operator is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery, tools, equipment, and facilities to ensure maximum uptime and safe operation. This role supports production operations by performing both preventive and corrective maintenance, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Skilled with hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Computer skills are a must for logging and reporting.

Nice To Haves

• Technical certification or associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines, tools, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and work orders.
• Assist with equipment installation, setup, and calibration.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment problems and improve processes.
• Maintain an organized work area and contribute to 5S/continuous improvement efforts.
