About The Position

Horsepower Automotive Group (HPAG) is a leader in the automotive aftermarket industry, seeking a CNC Laser Machine Operator for their 2nd shift. This role involves operating and programming TRUMPF Boost Laser cutting and bending systems to ensure high-quality output. The facility is air-conditioned, and the company values a collaborative environment with diverse perspectives. HPAG crafts innovative off-road truck parts in-house, made in America.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 or older
• Basic computer skills required

Nice To Haves

• Experience in metal fabrication preferred
• Experience in laser operation and programming preferred
• Prior use of TRUMPF systems, Boost Programs, or TruTops is a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Operate TRUMPF Boost Laser cutting and bending system programs
• Program files for laser cut nesting
• Convert SolidWorks files into laser sheet metal files for production
• Create standard work instructions for new and existing programs
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and implement process improvements
• Communicate effectively with staff to ensure accuracy and quality
