What You'll Do: Set up and run CNC horizontal milling machines Perform contour milling, drilling, boring, and tapping Read blueprints and maintain tight tolerances Inspect your own work – quality matters here Keep machines running smoothly and efficiently
Requirements
- 7+ years of CNC horizontal machining experience – setup and operation
- Ability to perform multiple set-ups daily
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Solid understanding of G & M codes
- Experience working with various materials such as steel, aluminum, cast iron and alloys
- High attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to physically lift/push/pull objects up to 40 lbs.
- Standard measuring tools required
