About The Position

We have one opening for CNC Grinder Operator for our first shift. Starting pay range of $24.00-$30.00/hour. As a CNC Grinder Operator at Regal Rexnord Thomson/Nook Cleveland Division your focus will be to: Set up centerless grinder machinery. Operate centerless grinder machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines. Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary. Move completed material to next workstation. Maintain clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers, and calipers.
Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds.
Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
Occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Must be in your current position for a minimum of 6 months to be eligible to apply for other internal positions.
Must be a "U.S. Person", which includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, U.S. permanent residents, individuals granted asylum in the United States, and refugees in the United States, or who otherwise can qualify for a license that permits them to hold the position.

Nice To Haves

One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
6 months – 1-year related experience or training.
