About The Position

We are seeking a skilled CNC Field Service Technician to provide exceptional service to our customers. This role involves traveling to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all machine tool equipment and controls. The technician will utilize technical resources to resolve machine issues, perform preventative maintenance, and conduct after-sales support and training. A strong understanding of the machine tool industry and product lines is essential.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in trouble shooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulics on machine tools.
  • Must be able to effectively detect and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical components.
  • Minimum of 5 to10 years’ experience in mechanical/ electrical repair of CNC machine tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics are required.
  • Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills are a must.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job.
  • Able to climb ladders and to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Able to safely operate a lift truck and lifting equipment or the rigging of machine tools.
  • Candidate must maintain an insurable clean driving record and a valid drivers license in the state of your residence.

Nice To Haves

  • Haas, Fanuc, Siemens, and Acramatic control repair background a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Traveling to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all machine tool equipment and controls for customer organizations.
  • Utilizing machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and OEM resources to research machine issues.
  • Ensuring proper documentation is completed and submitted to office and customer in regards to status of machine issues, repairs, and installation.
  • Promoting and performing preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment.
  • Conducting after-sales technical support and training.
  • Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company.
