CNC Conventional Lathe Machine Operator - 1st shift
About The Position
CNC Manufacturing is an industry-leading expert in the precision machining of performance-critical parts for diverse industries, including defense and aerospace. Our 37,000 sq. ft. climate-controlled facility in Coatesville, PA is equipped with advanced machining and quality control equipment. We are seeking candidates for both entry-level and skilled positions on first and second shifts. If you possess a strong mechanical background, a desire to learn the trade, and a keen attention to detail, we encourage you to apply. Training will be provided, and the base hourly wage will be determined by experience and skill level.

Responsibilities
- Read and understand blueprints and job instructions
- Understand raw stock identification and preparation
- Run jobs as programmed with the ability to change/adjust machine offsets
- Modify tooling for job use
- Understand safe positions, absolute-machine-relative coordinates
- Understand X+/-, Y+/-, C+/- and B+/-
- Perform SPC (Statistical Process Control) measurements
- Perform basic maintenance on machine and fixtures
- Maintain a clean, organized, & safe work area; comply with all Safety and ISO standards
- Communicate well, follow instructions, and be responsible for personal performance
- Other Level 2 operator duties as required
