About The Position

Constellation Health Services is looking for a CNA (Per-Diem) to cover (approx. 8 to 16 hrs. per week) in Dover /Foxcroft / Dexter, Maine! Constellation Hospice is seeking a CNA for our Hospice Program! The primary function of the (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant is to assist with personal care, to provide assistance and to work cooperatively with the patient and family. The Hospice Aide will be trained in appropriate and safe techniques for performing personal hygiene and grooming tasks that include bed bath, sponge bath, and shower bath, and hair shampooing in sink, tub, and bed. The services of a hospice aide are ordered by a physician and are given under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Requirements

Successfully completed the CNA training and competency evaluation program approved by the state.
Active and in-good-standing CNA License.
Current driver's license.
Reliable transportation.
Basic knowledge of iOS operating system.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience.
Hospice and/or home health experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care.
Provide assistance to patients and families.
Perform personal hygiene and grooming tasks including bed baths, sponge baths, shower baths, and hair shampooing in sink, tub, and bed.
Work cooperatively with the patient and family.
Drive within an assigned territory.
