About The Position

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the United States, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and direct patient care within healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Your primary objective is to support patients with their daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity at all times. You will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to monitor patient conditions and report any changes promptly. Requirements

• Current and valid CNA certification recognized in the state of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care techniques.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet health screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure accurately.
• Help patients move safely, including transferring from beds to wheelchairs and assisting with ambulation.
• Observe and report any changes in patients’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Assist nursing staff with medical procedures and documentation as directed.
• Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality in compliance with healthcare regulations.
