About The Position
The Nursing Assistant functions within their scope of practice under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse to assist in providing care and implementing delegated activities of the nursing plan. The role requires an understanding of basic nursing skills and skills unique to the assigned clinical unit. This position is in the Pediatrics ED Psychiatric Emergency Department at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, Washington. It is a part-time, day-shift position for 35 hours per week.
Requirements
- Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Implement delegated activities of the nursing plan.
- Demonstrate and use basic nursing skills and skills specific to the assigned clinical unit.
