About The Position

Tryfacta is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a 13-week assignment with its client in Platte, South Dakota. The role involves providing patient care and support with daily activities, personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition. The schedule includes variable shifts, and the listed pay rate is $32–$36 per hour.

Requirements

• Active South Dakota Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent emergency room experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Excellent teamwork, time management, and patient care skills.

Nice To Haves

• Travel experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care.
• Answer patient calls and determine how best to assist patients.
• Provide physical support with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, using the toilet, walking, standing, and exercising.
• Turn and reposition bedridden patients.
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to help ensure patients receive an appropriate diet.
• Gather information from physicians, caregivers, and nurses about patient conditions, treatment plans, and suggested activities.
• Measure and record food and liquid intake and urinary and fecal output, and report changes to medical or nursing staff.
