About The Position
Pine Ridge is a facility located on the beautiful, wooded property of Hansen Care Park. It offers private and semi-private rooms, spacious shower and bath facilities, beauty salon and barber shop services, walking paths, and state-of-the-art rehabilitation areas for physical, occupational, or speech therapy. The facility also provides cozy places to relax. Pine Ridge offers care for individuals requiring various medical services, including Short-term Rehabilitation, Long-term Care 24 Hour Skilled Nursing, Hospice and Respite Care, Restorative Care, and Certified Wound Care.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Nursing Assistant Training Program Completion
- Required Michigan State Nursing Assistant Certification Required within 120 Days
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or ARC within 90 Days
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care under the direction of the Unit Manager or Licensed Nurse, consistent with policies and procedures of the unit.
- Responsible for direct day-to-day care of assigned residents/patients including dressing, bathing, transporting and feeding.
- Documents care provided as directed in a manner consistent with guidelines.
- Maintains patients’ environment/work area/equipment, and communicates any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department/unit personnel.
- Complete and maintain required number of CNA educational hours.
- Participation in select unit quality monitoring activities under the direction of the Unit Manager or Nurse Leader.
