About The Position
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Dunwoody, GA. This role involves providing essential care and companionship to seniors, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. You will be responsible for a range of duties, from personal care to light housekeeping and transportation, all while ensuring detailed record-keeping and timely communication with our Care Coordinator.
Requirements
- Clean criminal background check
- Live Scan / Fingerprinting
- Reliable transportation with insurance
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. (Compliant with I-9 requirements.) ex: 2 forms of ID- Driver's License or Identification/passport or Permanent Resident ID/Social Security Card
- CPR + First Aid and TB test or chest X-ray required
Nice To Haves
- Formal training or experience in the home care field or school for at least 6 months is desired
- CNA License desired
Responsibilities
- Bath/Groom/Dress
- Provide transportation services and basic errands (pharmacy, grocery store, etc.)
- Provide meals and conduct light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Mobility assistance
- Toiletry assistance
- Companionship to help seniors enjoy their interests (attending senior centers or church, playing board games or cards, reading books, watching movies, taking walks)
- Maintain a detailed record of services provided and client's current conditions through our online portal
- Notify Care Coordinator of major changes or incidents during your shift
