About The Position

AVID Health at Home is a full-service home care agency seeking CNAs with a positive attitude and commitment to quality client care. The role provides one-to-one care in clients’ homes. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The agency serves people in 25 North Carolina counties.

The position includes personal care and assistance with daily activities, as well as household support, companionship, errands, and grocery shopping. The role requires communicating with clients, families, and other care providers, working independently, lifting up to 25 pounds, and using computerized systems.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and transfers.
• Provide incontinence care.
• Assist with exercises and walking.
• Prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship.
• Run errands and shop for groceries.
• Communicate with clients, their families, and other care providers.
