About The Position

Assisting Hands Baltimore North is hiring CNAs for one on one home care in Phoenix, Parkville, Bel Air, Hunt Valley, and the surrounding area. You will care for a small number of clients you actually get to know, on a schedule you help build. Some people are just built for this work. If you are the one your family calls when someone gets sick, the one who notices when a person is having a hard day before they say a word, you already have the hardest part of this job figured out.

Requirements

• Active CNA license (required)
• One year of caregiving experience
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle and proof of insurance
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• Must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities

• Personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with safe mobility and transfers
• Preparing simple meals
• Light housekeeping to keep the home safe and comfortable
• Companionship and conversation
• Driving clients to appointments and errands
• Documenting and reporting any change in a client's condition
