Requirements

  • Current District of Columbia CNA license with Board of Nursing
  • Current CPR license
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to relate information concerning the residents’ health.
  • Must meet general health requirements.
  • Must be able to carry, push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of fifty pounds.
  • Must have personal integrity, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with residents.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Forest Hills of DC residents with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, grooming, dressing, locomotion, feeding) in accordance with individualized care plan.
  • Assist Forest Hills residents in the Health Care Center with daily living activities, such as light housekeeping, meal prep, and engaging interactions. Every task contributes to their happiness, all while following their individualized care plans.
  • Assist resident in meeting their personal care needs and provided individualized attention while encouraging resident involvement in self-care.
