Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Completion of C.N.A. program
- Certified Nursing Assistant: AZ
- Basic Life Support
- First Aid

- Six months acute care C.N.A. experience
Responsibilities
- Performs direct patient care.
- Provides patient care (bathing, oral care, feeding, ambulation, vital signs).
- Performs other duties including inventory, documentation, clerical, dietary, light housekeeping, and computer input.
- Assists with patient admission, discharge, and transfer.
- Collects laboratory specimens according to hospital protocol, maintaining hospital standard of zero tolerance for mislabeled specimens.
- Assists the nurse/physician during examinations, treatments, and procedures as requested.
- Retrieves necessary equipment and supplies.
- Assists in patient/equipment preparation.
- Performs follow-up actions as directed.
